Rustic, unique and
simple are apt descriptions for the beach dwelling humpies with
walls and ceilings made from palm fronds, canvas, and
cement floors with uninterrupted views of the spectacular Indian
Ocean. Here you need to bring along your bedding, water,
cooking equipment, utensils and firewood (for sale at the office).
Sit around your campfire listening to
the ocean, watching the sunset or seeing the reflection of the moon
and stars over the sea. (Shack names and descriptions below) |

Kimberlies (above)
– the coolest shack of all situated right on
the rockpools. This shack has a great verandah an of course
brilliant views of the sea. |

Dondas
(above)
– Donda’s shack is located at
the most northerly point of the site from the Bluff. It is the
largest humpy and can sleep up to 8 people. It is a basic, authentic
palm frond beach shack with cement floor, beds (no linen) and “push
out” palm frond windows
looking at the magnificent Indian Ocean. |

Chris’s Loveshack
(above)
– Is set in the middle of the beach front with a shady verandah.
Chris’s sleeps 4 people in bunks.

Stonehouse – Most southerly shack made of stone is perched high on the
escarpment – amazing view north showing miles of spectacular
coastline. This cottage sleeps 4 people. |

Donalds…Listen
to the pounding of the ocean. Donald’s sits right next to the shop
and is a funky shack sleeping for 4 people. The shack is only 20
metre (stone’s throw) from the ocean with the view from Donalds is
spectacular. This shack is the hub of activity during the season.

Valley Shack
– sits back into the valley and can sleep 8 – 10 people.
